🍦 Invitation to Create: Bliss “Churn of the Week” Series 2024 🍨
Calling all local Chefs! 📢 Have you ever wanted to create a special ice cream flavor? At Bliss Small Batch Creamery, we believe that ice cream is more than just a treat; it’s a canvas for creativity, a medium for expression, and a celebration of community! Inspired by the vibrant talents of our local culinary scene, we are thrilled to invite you, the culinary artisans of our community, to join us in crafting a year of extraordinary flavors with our “Churn of the Week” series for 2024.
Our Purpose: We envision each scoop of Bliss as a unique masterpiece, a fusion of your culinary expertise, nostalgic favorites, and our passion for super premium, all natural ice cream and vegan gelato. Through this collaborative journey, we aim to bring together the diverse flavors and stories that define our community. Our purpose is to celebrate the artistry of local chefs, fostering a sense of pride and togetherness with every delightful swirl.

All Natural Ingredients: All of our ice cream and vegan gelato flavors are created using all-natural ingredients including vibrant plant-based colors.
How It Works:
Beginning in February, each week of 2024 we will be featuring the Bliss signature “Churn of the Week” flavor creation of one talented chef in our community.
All interested chefs should apply to be a guest chef or our 2024 “Churn of the Week” series through this link Guest Chef Application
by December 31, 2023. If your application is accepted, Bliss will invite you to develop and name your signature flavor recipe in our kitchen in Fircrest, WA starting in January 2024.
We’ll provide the ingredients based on your recommendations, the canvas of our premium ice cream or vegan gelato (coconut, almond or oat base), and a platform to showcase your culinary prowess. All inclusions must be from approved sources or created in our WSDA certified ice cream kitchen. We will also provide you with a list of all-natural base flavorings that we can easily source to test in your flavor development.
Bliss will assign your signature flavor to a specific showcase week in 2024. The Bliss production team will use your recipe to produce your flavor creation for that week to be distributed to our scoop shops for scooping and in take-home pint packages.
Your creation will be featured prominently in our scoop shops, and we’ll spread the joy on our social media channels, giving credit and bragging rights where it’s due.

But wait! There’s more!! Your flavor could earn NATIONAL recognition at the North American Ice Cream Association convention in Savannah, Georgia this November 2024! Bliss will be selecting flavors from this series to enter into the Flavor of the Year Competition in both the non-dairy and the dairy categories.
